Nehalem
Manzanita, Nehalem and Wheeler are three villages located on the Pacific Ocean, Nehalem River and Nehalem Bay on the North Oregon Coast. The Nehalem Bay Area is 40 miles south of Astoria and 60 miles north of Lincoln City on Highway 101.
Manzanita is a beautiful oceanside city with seven miles of sandy beach. Enjoy the spectacular walks by the ocean. Manzanita possesses the third most photographed scenery in Oregon.
Nahalem is a picturesque riverside town with a quaint downtown reflecting its century of history. Enjoy views of the Nehalem River, nearby mountains, forests and wildlife, the centerpiece of the Nehalem Bay Area experience.
Wheeler is nestled in the hills overlooking the beautiful Nehalem Bay, Neahkanie Mountain, and the Pacific Ocean, Wheeler boasts breathtaking sunsets and rainbows.

Let’s Go Camping at Nehalem Bay State Park
Manzanita, Oregon 97130888-953-7677Friday, Aug 10th, 2012 - Sunday, Aug 12th, 2012Oregon Parks & Recreation Department brings you Let’s Go Camping. This is a fun-filled weekend camping experience for novice camper families. We provide tent, sleeping bags and mattress pads if you need them for the weekend. Lots of fun activities for parents, grandparents or children. This weekend will be at Nehalem Bay State Park.
Very secure event with ranger-led activities and experienced volunteers on hand to assist you 24/7. Cost for the ENTIRE FAMILY IS ONLY $20! These events are very popular with single parents, families on a budget and seniors. Call Mon.-Fri. between 8 am. and 5 pm. at 888-953-7677 to reserve spots.
