The Oregon Coast Visitors Association (OCVA) is recruiting for a Central Coast Destination Development Coordinator to establish and maintain on-the-ground relationships between OCVA, state tourism agencies, government agencies and a wide range of non-profit and private tourism industry stakeholders. This position requires the skills of an accomplished project manager who is technologically proficient, very politically astute, and possesses excellent time-management skills. While our work environment is fun loving and light-hearted, it is also highly demanding where continuous reprioritization of a dozen or more projects occurs simultaneously; each with their own set timelines and multiple rolling deadlines.
Successful job performance in this environment will require a rock-solid work ethic, calm demeanor and positive “Can Do” attitude. Our tourism world is always changing and our need to continuously adapt is paramount. Therefore, we seek an intuitive team player who deals well with transitional environments and has an entrepreneurial spirit.
Successful candidate may live (relocate to) anywhere between Lincoln City and Florence on the Oregon Coast.
