There’s a new yarn crawl in Oregon, and it’s just beachy keen. It’s Yarn Crawl 101, and it encompasses 14 stores stretched over 364 miles from Ocean Park, Wash., to Brookings. As the name implies, it takes place along Highway 101, which adds breathtaking scenery to the mix. Interested? Here’s what you need to know:

- The stores: Fourteen shops are participating. From north to south, they are: Tapestry Rose in Ocean Park, Wash.; Purly Shell in Ilwaco, Wash.; Arachne’s Astoria Rendezvous in Astoria; Custom Threads in Astoria; Creative Beginnings in Seaside; Coastal Yarns in Cannon Beach; T-Spot Yarn in Manzanita; Tangled Yarns in Tillamook; Yarn for All Seasons in Newport; My Yarn Shop in Coos Bay; Wool Company in Bandon; Stranded by the Sea in Bandon; Wild Rivers Wool Factory in Langlois; and By My Hand in Brookings.
