It is home to more than a dozen mapped and maintained hiking trails, more than 800 miles of navigable waters for the kayak enthusiast and not to forget the crabbing, clamming and fishing that takes place in our very own Tillamook and Netarts Bays.
Feel the need to relax and take in the scenery? The Tillamook area is home to the famous Three Capes Scenic Loop. On this drive you will find breathtaking views of the ocean, the Three Arch Rocks, Netarts Bay and Haystack Rock in Pacific City. No matter where you go in Tillamook, there will be scenery to be had. We are a photographer’s paradise.
Half a dozen museums in the area are waiting for you to see just how great the history of the area is. History buffs will be in awe of the rare war-bird collection at the Tillamook Naval Air Museum and will catch themselves engulfed in the delicate history of the city of Garibaldi at the Garibaldi Maritime Museum.

Tillamook is home to the Tillamook Cheese Factory, Blue Heron French Cheese Company, Debbie D’s Sausage Factory, Pacific Oyster, Tillamook County Smoker, Werner’s Gourmet meat and many restaurants serving local fare; your taste buds are sure to go wild.
