Welcome to the Tree Wizard’s Shop. Gary Burns is a self-taught wood carver who has been practicing his craft since 1971. He specializes in creating wooden hearts, wood spirits, tree carvings, anniversary gifts, wedding gifts, birthday gifts, and abstract sculptures. Gary’s journey began with a $19.99 jigsaw and a $1.99 chisel set, evolving into a lifelong passion. After years of honing his skills and running the Tree Wizard Gallery in June Lake, California for 16 years, Gary now operates out of Port Orford, Oregon. He and his partner Susan operate a shop/gallery where his carvings are available for purchase, alongside his online presence on Etsy since 2009.
