Get your adrenaline pumping this holiday season with a nighttime zip-line tour at High Life Adventures in Warrenton. The nighttime “Twinkle Tour” is a two-hour guided tour of eight zip lines. You’ll whizz along 15 to 75 feet above the ground, your way illuminated by lanterns and headlamps.
After you’ve twinkled your way through the treetops, stargaze around the bonfire or warm up in the cabin with hot chocolate, cider and cookies. Twinkle Tours are fun for the entire family as younger kids who weigh between 45 and 59 pounds can zip in tandem with an adult.
Tours start at 5 p.m. on Saturday nights. With advance scheduling, groups of six or more can arrange nighttime tours during the week.
Looking for something to do before your zip-line adventure? Check out the nearby Peter Iredale shipwreck at Fort Stevens State Park, or visit Fort Clatsop National Historical Park, the winter encampment of Lewis and Clark’s Corps of Discovery during 1805 and 1806. The park features a replica of the fort, an interpretive center and exhibit hall.
