The Oregon Coast has it all. Surfing, paddling, hiking, biking, and — disc golf! Here’s another great outdoor activity to add to the endless ways to experience the coast.
Today, courses pepper Oregon’s western flank, from Astoria to Brookings.
Each of these courses offers a unique coastal experience, from historic settings to densely wooded and multi-terrain courses. Whether you’re a local enthusiast or visiting for the first time, these courses promise a blend of scenic beauty and recreational enjoyment that captures the essence of Oregon’s coastal charm. Be sure to check out the website and app UDisc, which offers course maps and leaderboards.
We just launched our Disc Golf webpage, where visitors (and locals!) can find information on all Oregon Coast disc golf courses. With nearly 20 courses spread from North to South, there are endless options for enthusiasts or newbies to get outside and test their skills.
Wild Rogue Open: October 5-6
If you’re feeling competitive, you won’t want to miss the The Wild Rogue Open, sponsored by the Oregon Coast Visitors Association. The course is tucked in along the mighty “Wild and Scenic’ Rogue River just 14 miles from the ocean. This 2nd annual, weekend long tournament will feature a stunning 18 hole temporary layout within old growth Myrtlewood groves, open meadows, and of course, the rocky banks of the Rogue River.
