The hike is moderately strenuous. Expect to hike up to 5 miles (3 hours hiking) each day over rough steep terrain. There are plenty of ups and downs along the trail. Expect to descend 500 ft elevation over 2.5 miles, then climb back up at the end of the day.
You should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early.

Volunteers are provided with Free Camping at USFS’s Quosatana Campground from 1 PM on Friday, May, 16th to 11 AM on Monday, May 19th.
