Lincoln City Bird Walk – Hostetler Park & Devils Lake
Come walk through diverse habitats along D River, crossing a hidden boardwalk through unique wetlands, then on through the campgrounds to Devils Lake. Look for birds like Swainson’s Thrush, sparrows, and waterfowl.
Meet at the NE 1st Street parking area on the east side of Hwy 101 in Lincoln City, formerly known as Hostetler Park. The walk takes place from 9 – 11 a.m.
All of the Seven Capes Bird Alliance walks are free, family-friendly, and open to the public. No prior experience or pre-registration is needed. Walks are led by experienced birders and include the free use of binoculars and field guides. Dress for coastal weather as bird walks happen rain or shine. Remember to bring water but to leave your four-legged friends at home. Look for the Seven Capes sign when you arrive at the meeting site.
