I have been professionally guiding for salmon, trout and steelhead throughout Northern California and Coastal Oregon for the over twenty years. I thoroughly enjoy my occupation and truly believe that I am one of the hardest working river guides in the business. When you combine my intense work ethics with hard earned river experience the end result is that of being a satisfied angler. I proudly maintain the reputation for “giving it my all” in order to make your trip a successful one! Please give “Jack’s Guide Service” a try and I promise that you will not leave disappointed.
To assure the validity and safety of your river trip, I am licensed (insured and bonded) in Oregon, as well as in California. This means that I am CPR and first aid certified should an emergency arise. I also possess a Chetco River special use USFS permit as well as a Six Rivers NFS special use permit for the Smith River in California. These permits enable us to access the most desireable upper sections of the Chetco and Smith’s watersheds.
