Gearhart is a lovely, quiet town just 3 miles north of Seaside. It has no traffic lights, wide streets for riding bikes, public tennis courts and a gorgeous unspoiled beach.
The center of town is charming with antique and home & garden shops, restaurants, an art gallery, an old fashion grocery store and lodging in a newly restored boutique inn. Gearhart is also home to Gearhart Golf Links, the oldest golf course in the Northwest and the newly renovated, McMenamins Sand Trap Bar and Grill.

McMenamins Gearhart Hotel
McMenamins Gearhart Hotel is located in the historic Kelly House, the same building that houses McMenamins Sand Trap Pub and Gearhart Golf Links pro shop. Eighteen guest rooms were constructed on the third floor of the Cape Cod-style building, featuring king or queen-sized beds with en suite bathrooms and decorated in a Pacific Northwest coastal style integrating McMenamins' signature artwork.
