The Oregon Coast was well-represented at the TravelAbility Emerging Markets Summit, held in Savannah, Georgia on August 18-20, 2023.
From assessment tools to mobility devices, from accessible websites to accessible hotel rooms, attendees learned together how to better support and welcome disabled travelers.
Following last year’s TravelAbility Summit, OCVA began hosting coastal accessibility conversations with tourism industry partners and disability advocates.
These discussions allow for shared learning and regional impact, supporting and accelerating projects like the placement of all-terrain track chairs and Mobi-Mats in additional coastal communities and the receipt of grant funding for accessibility initiatives.
We are grateful to collaborate with partners from throughout our region who are working hard to welcome visitors with disabilities. If you are interested in joining future Oregon Coast travelabilty conversations, contact Arica Sears.
