Sunset Kayaking

Adventure awaits! Head out from Knight Park for an exciting sunset paddle on the Salmon River. Enjoy this unique, Cascade Head Biosphere Collaborative naturalist-led tour.

Boating Options

1. Bring your own kayak or canoe, paddle, PFD, light and whistle – $29 per person

2. Don’t have a boat? Arrange for a rental from local Safari Town Surf Shop and have everything delivered to the park – $29 per person fee plus the rental charge (equipment reservation and payment is done directly with Safari Town).

Basic requirements include:

• Kayak / canoe

• Paddle

• PFD (Personal Floatation Device)

• Whistle (signaling device)

• Non-cotton, appropriate apparel (Always dress for the water temperature, which is cold)

• Other safety equipment: bilge pump or bailer, throw rope, and float bags

• Waterway Access and Aquatic Invasive Species Permit (10′ or longer boats)
