“Summer Fun” Art Exhibit

The Florence Regional Arts Alliance’s (FRAA) August art exhibit, “Summer Fun” is on display at the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce’s Visitor’s Center Art Gallery, 290 Highway 101 in Florence.

The show offers visitors a diverse collection of artwork by local artists representing a wide variety of visual art forms.

Visitors will find a wide variety of artwork coming together in one collection, with artists working in ceramics, photography, painting, mixed media, glass mosaic, multilayered wood and other media.

The artists represented in the Chamber exhibit include: Pat Briggs, Watercolor Painting; Kris DeNoyer, Ceramics; Patricia DeVito, Photography; Debi Ford, Ceramics; Cleo Goss, Oil Painting; ELee Hadley, Watercolor Painting; Butch Hovendick, Photography; Alan Huck, Acrylic Painting; Suzanne Korosec, Oil Painting; Rick LaNasa, Mixed Media; Teresa LaNasa, Mixed Media; Dan Leasure, Oil Painting; John Leasure, Oil Painting; Kathleen Leasure, Oil Painting; Karen Marie, Watercolor Painting; Shirley Mollring, Mixed Media; Greta Olivas, Mixed Media; Brigitte Parker, Oil Painting; Kim Renteria, Watercolor & Acrylic Pen; Christine Santiago, Photography; Jerry Schneider, Photography; Diane Seals, Ceramics; Steve Seals, Acrylic Painting; Bobbie Soshnick, Mixed Media; Robin Siewell, Multilayered Wood; Elaine Uellendahl, Glass on Glass Mosaic; and Jack Uellendahl, Photography.

FRAA is a local nonprofit whose mission is to unify and support all of the arts and enrich cultural life through the arts. The organization operates an Art Gallery in Old Town Florence. The organization currently represents about 90 artists in its Art Gallery, and the artists displayed at the Chamber provide a diverse sample of the many different visual art forms available through the organization. Visitors will find even more treasures and artistic media—including the written word—at the FRAA Art Gallery in Old Town.

The Florence Area Chamber of Commerce’s Visitor Center Art Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays through August from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
