Fall Kite Festival – Night Flight

Kick off the Fall Kite Festival with a dazzling Night Fly. Come see the swirl of colors across the night sky at Lincoln City's inaugural Night Flight, a part of the 2025 Fall Kite Festival. Watch the skies come alive as illuminated kites light up the evening over the beach in a magical, family-friendly display you won’t want to miss. This exciting evening event featuring specially designed LED-lit kites will take place on Friday, September 19th, from 7 – 9 p.m. Free shuttle service will be available from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. that evening.

Enjoy the various other Fall Kite festivities beginning at 10 a.m. on both Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st. All three days of this exciting event are held on the beach at the D River State Recreation Site. The annual Fall Kite Festival is a longstanding family vacation tradition.
