Aladdin (A British Panto)

This year’s Panto, Aladdin, is loosely based on the Aladdin story most of us have heard from childhood. For those new to the Dolphin Playhouse, the holiday Panto has become a tradition, as this will be their fifth Panto, following Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, and Beauty and the Beast.  

Borrowed from the traditional British “pantomime”, Panto is a theatrical entertainment based on a fairy tale or nursery story, told in a broad and humorous way with music, sight gags, jokes about current events and plenty of slapstick comedy.
