West Fish Co. is a fisherman owned seafood market in Pacific City offering local seafood harvested in Oregon waters, with the majority landed by Pacific City’s dory fleet. The team includes Tyler Kuhn, captain of the F/V Tycoon, and Dan Halburt, skipper of the F/V Tycoon.
All of West Fish Co.’s seafood is harvested in Oregon, with the vast majority of the fish and crab they offer is harvested just two miles from their retail store in Pacific City. They sell what they catch, plus buy directly from fishermen and trusted local processors, and prioritize traceability and seasonality. They also have their own line of canned Albacore tuna and salmon for sale in the market!
Right onsite, West Fish & Chips serves hand battered, locally caught fish fried to order with fries, tartar sauce, malt vinegar and ketchup. The seasonal walk up cart is located at 34775 Brooten Road and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the summer. With dory boats launching right off the beach at Cape Kiwanda, the catch doesn’t have to travel far to reach the fryer.
