Nye Cottage Beads

The walls at Nye Cottage Beads are covered with thousands of strands of pressed glass beads, vintage beads, fire polish, daggers and drops, seed beads, trade beads, pearls, semi precious, shell, bone, and metal. They carry tools, a variety of stringing supplies, and findings in silver plate, gold plate, copper, brass, black oxide, stainless steel, niobium, sterling silver, and gold fill.

Nye Cottage also carries many fair trade items and is Oregon’s representative for Kazuri beads from Kenya. Nye Cottage offers a variety of basic beading classes, host guest artists who teach classes, and have bead, gem, and jewelry shows with direct importers and local artists. As representative of Kazuri, they also do shows at bead stores, fairs, and the Portland Bead Society Bead Bazaar.
