Fishermen Direct Seafood
For more than 20 years, Fishermen Direct Seafood has connected visitors and locals to some of the finest wild Oregon seafood on the coast. Founded by veteran fishermen Scott Boley, Jeff Werner, and John Wilson, the market was created in response to declining salmon prices and a growing need for local fishermen to sell directly to their community. Their mission remains simple: provide high-quality Oregon seafood while supporting coastal fishing families and working waterfronts.
Located at the Port of Gold Beach, Fishermen Direct specializes in wild, Oregon-harvested seafood including Chinook salmon, albacore tuna, blackcod, halibut, lingcod, rockfish, pink shrimp, and Oregon Dungeness crab. The market is especially known for its extensive freezer selection, with seafood filleted, vacuum packed, and blast frozen the same day it arrives at the dock to preserve peak freshness and quality year-round.
Fishermen Direct also produces its own canned Oregon albacore tuna and house-smoked seafood, continuing traditions rooted in generations of commercial fishing experience. With rigorous quality control standards and deep ties to Oregon’s fishing industry, the market has become a trusted destination for sustainably harvested seafood on the southern Oregon coast.
