The Wild Rogue Open Returns for Its Third Annual Showcase in Gold Beach
September 27-28 in Gold Beach
When it comes to combining world-class recreation with jaw-dropping scenery, the Oregon Coast always delivers. And for disc golfers, the Wild Rogue Open has fast become a signature event that truly lives up to its name.

The Wild Rogue Open is a PDGA-sanctioned tournament tucked deep in the forest, just 14 miles from the ocean. This 3rd annual, weekend long tournament will feature a stunning 18 hole temporary layout within old growth Myrtlewood groves, open meadows, and of course, the rocky banks of the Rogue River.
Hosted over a full weekend, the tournament features a temporary 18-hole layout that brings out the best in both the natural terrain and the players. And with $1,000 added cash and all the other added fun, this is a not to be missed event.

Beyond disc golf, the event delivers a full coastal experience. The course is nestled within a campground that offers 43 first-come, first-serve campsites, perfect for players and families looking to stay close to the action. Beyond the fairways, visitors can explore an outdoor playground: jet boat tours with Rogue Jets, kayaking and sea cave tours with South Coast Tours, and all the small-town charm of nearby Gold Beach, including local seafood, art galleries, and sweeping ocean views.
It’s the kind of event that exemplifies what makes the Oregon Coast a premier destination for outdoor recreation, and we’re excited to partner again going into the events third year.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or a first-time visitor, this is one event that showcases the very best of what the Southern Oregon Coast has to offer.
Mark your calendars, and share with your audiences—The Wild Rogue Open 2025 will be one for the books!
