From riverside to cliffside, find the perfect stay for your coastal getaway.
With windswept shorelines, lighthouses keeping watch and coastal towns built for wandering, a great place to stay makes a trip to the Oregon Coast that much better. From revived hotels with refreshed rooms to cozy cabins built for slow mornings and ocean views, there’s a place for every budget — and don’t forget camping options. These new or revitalized lodgings bring the coast to your doorstep.

Glass Cabins and Bayside Suites on the South Coast
The picturesque Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge on the Rogue River has added some sleek new luxury options: Three modern glass cabins with riverside patios and floor-to-ceiling windows that reflect the wild beauty of the Rogue. Or book one of the sumptuous lodge rooms or vacation houses on the adult-only property. Kayak from the property, book a jet-boat tour along the Rogue River or relax at the on-site spa.
In Coos Bay, the Edgewater Inn and Suites wrapped up a full renovation in 2024, giving over 80 bayside rooms with kitchenettes a fresh feel, plus an indoor pool, a hot tub and a fitness center. Upstairs rooms overlook the river, with views that catch unforgettable sunrises. Nearby, the newly renamed Ko-Kwel Casino Resort, formerly the Mill Casino, honors the ancestral home of its owners, the Coquille Indian Tribe. Rooms and suites include options with fireplaces. Both are close to the boardwalk, shops and museums, and they make a great jumping-off point for exploring Shore Acres State Park or the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.

Stays for Arts and Culture Lovers on the Central Coast
Newport is a paradise of fresh-off-the-dock seafood and historic maritime culture, but insiders come for the vibrant arts scene. In the historic Nye Beach district, the newly renovated Hotel Sylvia offers rooms that honor a love of literature. No televisions here, so sprawl out in bed with an ocean view and read a bestseller — or write your own. Formerly the Sylvia Beach Hotel, the property’s refresh was completed in 2025 by new owners. It has a new cafe and renovated rooms, which retain the literary inspiration loved by coastal visitors throughout the years.
A few blocks away, the six-suite Louie Boutique Motel brings the funk, soul and vintage luxe with each room inspired by a different music legend. Turntables and Tivoli radios come standard, so spin a little Bowie, Aretha or a favorite Beatles song. It features contactless check-in and dog-friendly suites. Rest your head at the Allred Hotel — a recently revitalized property also in Newport — offering 105 chic modern rooms and suites; the front-row ocean views make it hard to leave. Some rooms have balconies, fireplaces and kitchenettes. Head downstairs to Bites + Bar for a house cocktail and small plates before a play or an event at the Newport Performing Arts Center nearby.
If you’re in Florence, check out the newly completed Florentine Waterfront Hotel. This lakeside property offers a vacation home for 7 people plus a handful of luxury cabins on Siltcoos Lake. Lodgings feature amenities like peaceful water views, pet-friendly rooms, kitchenettes and fun themes based on flowers and herbs. The northern end of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is close for playing or hiking, and kayak rentals are available.

Mirror Cabins and Kayaking on the North Coast
Close to the Garibaldi Marina, the Roam America Tillamook team revamped the former Old Mill RV Park with updated cabins overlooking Tillamook Bay. One-bedroom cabins come with kitchenettes, porches, fire pits, plus a clubhouse with a sauna. It’s an excellent base camp for crabbing, kayaking or hopping the vintage train on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad to Rockaway Beach.
In Tierra del Mar, Two Capes Lookout feels delightfully different with Mirror Cabins and geodesic domes tucked into the forest, complete with ocean views in the mix. The Mirror Cabins boast reflective windows, heated floors and private patios. Both stays include mini fridges, plush linens, and access to trails and fire pits. It’s a quick walk to the beach and a short drive to Pacific City and Cape Kiwanda for dunes, beers and tide pools.
Campers will be pleased to hear that the Nehalem Bay State Park campgrounds got a refresh in 2025 with updated restrooms, better accessibility and miles of paved trails. The park features tent sites, RV hookups, yurts, and perks like hot showers and playgrounds. Paddle the bay with Kayak Tillamook or join a guided horseback ride through the dunes with Oregon Beach Rides — there’s no shortage of ways to roam.
