Anglers visiting the Nehalem Bay area this summer and fall can enjoy several sport fishing opportunities. Both wild and hatchery Coho salmon will be biting in the bay and tidewaters; anglers also can target sea-run cutthroat trout in the Nehalem River. And for families with small children, crabbing and surfperch fishing in the lower bay can be a great vacation activity.
