Battery 245 Brewing Co
Just steps from the Warrenton Marina, three partners transformed a former RV repair and supply building into Warrenton’s first craft brewery. Today, Battery 245 Brewing Company blends waterfront views, a bright and welcoming taproom, a family-friendly restaurant, and expertly crafted beer brewed on a 7-barrel system.
Named in honor of the nearby Battery 245 coastal defense site at Fort Stevens, the brewery celebrates the community spirit, creativity, and local pride that continue to shape downtown Warrenton’s next chapter.
But what truly sets Battery 245 apart is its commitment to Oregon seafood. Rare for a brewery, the team works directly with local fishermen to source fresh, Oregon-caught seafood, with no imported fish on the menu. Whole fish are butchered in house, and the kitchen thoughtfully utilizes trim and secondary cuts across the menu to reduce waste and celebrate full fish utilization.
Seasonal specials often highlight local Chinook salmon and Oregon Dungeness crab, giving guests a true taste of the North Coast’s working waterfront and fishing communities.
Sustainable Practices
- Names of fishing vessels or fishermen listed on menus or retail items
- Seasonal menu changes based on what’s being landed locally
- Willingness to 86 items when local product isn’t available instead of substituting imports
- Use of trim, bones, and offcuts in stocks, sauces, or value-added products.
