Sand Art Contest
Come enjoy the family-friendly art contest on the beach at Roads End State Recreation Area. Participants will be working to showcase their favorite Cascade Head Marine Reserve species or habitat, for all to enjoy. Grab a stick or rake and join in the excitement. A 20′ x 20′ square, sandy “canvas” will be utilized by each team to create their sand art graphic masterpieces. Prizes will be awarded for best creations.
During the competition, enjoy a demonstration by professional artists and their team of expert volunteers as they work to create a giant sand art graphic of their own.

$20 Entry Fee to compete (limited spots are available) but is free to view and enjoy. Funds will be dedicated to support the Cascade Head Biosphere Collaborative and its programs for education, climate, and community.

No previous experience required. Extra rakes will be available on site.
