Oregon Coast Music Association: The Tree-O & Shamus Hanlin
Join us for a free afternoon of music at the North Bend Public Library on Wednesday, July 15, from 2:00–3:30 p.m. Presented in partnership with the North Bend Public Library, this special program features The Tree-O, a vocal ensemble with deep roots in the Bay Area. Singers Peggy Maddron, Kathleen Zappelli, and Josie Reid, accompanied by Luanne May on keyboard, bring decades of experience as educators and performers to an entertaining and engaging musical performance. The program will also showcase guest vocalist Shamus Hanlin, whose community roots and distinctive style have made him a compelling voice in classic jazz and swing. Accompanying Hanlin on keyboard is local musician Patrick Cahill, a North Bend High School graduate, University of Oregon Jazz Camp alumnus, and Bachelor of Music graduate of Western Oregon University.
Additional guest performers may be announced. Admission is free and open to the public.
