Holiday Gyotaku Printing
Get ready for the holiday season with Gyotaku, a traditional Japanese folk art. Make unique gifts, holiday cards, wrapping paper, and more. Trained associates of Master Gyotaku artist, Duncan Berry, will guide participants through the process of printing species found in the UNESCO Cascade Head Biosphere Region.
When: Saturday, December 5th, 2026, from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Where: Pelican Brewing at Siletz Bay / 2nd floor
What: This is an exciting, 2 1/2-hour long nature printing workshop where you will make your own pieces to give away as fine-art gifts, cards or wrapping paper, just in time for the holidays. Each participant will be able to make up to a dozen original prints. No previous art experience required; the class is suited for all levels of printers from beginner to expert.
