Hosted by Portland Corgi Meetup Group and benefiting Oregon Humane, Corgi Beach Takeover brings together thousands of stumpy-leg enthusiasts for a day of races, contests, and fun in the sun.

Corgi Coastal Cuteness
Pack up your corgi and head to Seaside, Oregon for the giddiest gathering of corgis imaginable. All people and pups (not just corgis) are invited!
The 2025 event hosted 800+ corgis and raised more than $34,000 for Oregon Humane’s life-changing programs and services, including adoptions, financial aid for veterinary care, and humane law enforcement.

It’s time to boldly sploot where no corgi has ever splooted before! In celebration of 60 years of Star Trek we are calling on all corgis to arrive in their most out of this world attire! Beam up (and over) to Seaside for a galactic day!

• 10 a.m. Event Opens

• 12 p.m. Dog Costume Contests—Starfleet Edition with four winning categories:

• Best Starfleet Pup

• Best Alien Lifeform

• Dynamic Duo (Owner & Corgi )

• Anything Goes

• 1:30 p.m. Corgi Beach Races—only 192 corgi racers total so be sure to line up early!

• 3 p.m. Raffle Drawing & Silent Auction Closes

• 4 p.m. Event Ends

During the event, enjoy

• Delicious beverages at the Libation Station (21+ humans and pups of all ages)

• Local vendor and merchant booths
