Biosphere Beach Ambassador

Meet Cascade Head's Biosphere Beach Ambassador, Josh Havelind, along with a Lincoln City Parks & Recreation team member for an amazing outdoor adventure, right where the waves, rocks and tidepools come alive. Stationed at the NW 15th Street beach access, near the tide pools (from one hour before until one hour after low tide) the team will be ready to answer questions, share fascinating insights about the Cascade Head Marine Reserve Protected Areas, and highlight ways everyone can help to protect the coastal ecosystems. Visitors are invited to explore marine species in the tide pools, learn how to minimize their impact, and connect with the conservation, research, and community stewardship that define the Cascade Head Biosphere Region. Whether a tide pool enthusiast or simply curious about the local marine life, stop by and say hello.
