48th Oregon Coast Music Festival
Now in its 48th season, the Oregon Coast Music Festival, often called the “Tanglewood of the West Coast”, returns July 11 – 25 with two inspiring weeks of music and learning. The longest-running music festival on the Oregon Coast, it brings together more than 80 outstanding musicians from across the country for a rich blend of classical and jazz performances, plus music education for all ages. Concerts and events unfold at beautiful venues around the Coos Bay area, including Shore Acres State Park Garden, the OIMB Boat House, and Mingus Park, along with free seminars at Southwest Oregon Community College. The festival culminates with three powerful performances by the 80-member Festival Orchestra in Marshfield High School Auditorium.
