MANNA is a working studio and retail shop, established by husband and wife duo, Zak & Whitney Shelhamer. Zak is a full-time filmmaker and photographer, while Whitney is an established fine jewelry designer and licensed apothecary artist.
In 2016 they felt a call on their hearts to leave the bay area of California, for the wild coastline of Yachats, Oregon. MANNA is their new brick and mortar space, serving as the flagship shop for Whitney’s creations, as well as the retail home for beautiful, small-batch goods from other skilled makers. Here you will find a warm conversation and a welcoming place to linger. You will also find beautiful offerings and provisions including hand-forged fine jewelry (from one of a kind engagement rings to simple initial necklaces), market baskets, indigo dye kits, vintage mud cloths, ceramics, blankets, men’s goods, skincare products and more. Wander through the doors and you will likely observe soy candles being poured, palo santo being chopped and bundled, or the hammering of gold and setting of precious gems. Zak and Whitney hope to serve you a hot drink, and they hope you find something that speaks to your soul.
