Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic

For three days in September surf enthusiasts will head to Cape Kiwanda beach in Pacific City, Oregon for a weekend of surf action at the 25th Annual Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic.

The event features an opening party and live music on Friday evening followed by two days of non-stop surfing including cross steps, cutbacks, nose rides, and the sounds of endless cheers from onlookers.

This year’s contest marks a milestone for the Oregon surfing community as the competition reaches its 25th consecutive year. The continuation and growth of the Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic is a testament to the rise in the sport’s popularity and the vibrancy of the surfing community on the Oregon Coast.
