And if you are a beginner, we guarantee to shorten your learning curve! If you are just starting to fly fish or you are a hardcore fly fishing fanatic, Western Waters Guide Service will provide you with an unforgettable fishing experience. Steelhead are sometimes referred to as the fish of a thousand casts, however a great man (Henry David Thoreau) eloquently wrote: “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not the fish they are after”. He surely must have visited beautiful Northern California and Oregon.
Guided steelhead trips take place from September through February. We start fly fishing for steelhead in the Willow Creek area in the fall months and then move to the Lewiston area for the winter months. Being on the water almost every day, you can expect us to take you where the fishing is best.
