Astoria is a very unique town located high on a hill of a pennisula surrounded by rivers. There are gorgeous views from anywhere in town. Many homes are of Victorian style in this historic settlement town on the Columbia River, near the Pacific Ocean. Downtown is charming with many galleries, fine restaurants, and quaint shops. The Riverwalk and town trolley run for miles through town with breath-taking views. I have traveled world-wide and there are few towns that compare in beauty and intrigue. There is a good reason cruise ships are docking in the Port of Astoria.
