Astoria, Ore.—The Cannery Pier Hotel was selected by the Flying Dutchman Winery as the exclusive retail distributor of Flying Dutchman wines outside of their own retail operations. This partnership adds to the selection of Oregon specialties already available in the hotel gift boutique. The hotel has also started offering Flying Dutchman wines during their weekend happy hour for guests.

Flying Dutchman winery, a small family owned winery, has been producing wine with ocean views since 1997.The Flying Dutchman is the only working winery on the Oregon coast. Dubbed as Oregon’s first “micro-winery” the Flying Dutchman has been winning awards since its first barrel. The very first vintage of Pinot Noir was awarded a gold medal at the 1999 Oregon State fair.
