Perspective - Oregon Coast Visitors Association

While we sit looking out at Long Island Sound in winter storm and fury, we think of our next travel adventure wondering from a dream book worldwide places. We are torn by the need for new versus the comfort of familiar. Our travels over 50 years give us a certain perspecive and measure. A common measure is the Oregon coast with it’s dunes and headlands, forests and waves, and wild life from crab to elk and seabird. We bore our friends with our longing to return and encouragement of them to travel to Oregon with a most common reference point for our easterners being :”the Oregon coast makes the rocky (and beautiful) Maine coast look like the Delaware coast”.
