Overlook Beach Trail, a relatively short trail, can be seen almost entirely from the upper viewing deck. Cross 0.25 mile of wind-polished sand to the deflation plain. On a windy day, the deflation plain is a refuge with the dense growth of trees and wetland plants deflecting the frequent seasonal<BR>winds.
