Coos Historical & Maritime Museum

The Coos Historical & Maritime Museum, operated by the second-oldest historical society in Oregon, presents the diverse cultural history of the South coast, with emphasis on the Coos region. In addition to the largest single collection of Coos and Coquille basketry and a 20-foot-long photographic timeline, the museum's rotating exhibits explore aspects of local industry, transportation, and social history, particularly as influenced by river and ocean.
