Cardboard Boat Races

The Lakeside chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual Cardboard Boat Race. Races start at 12:00 noon at the County Park Boat Ramp in Lakeside.

There are four race divisions:

1. Pollywog up to age 7

2. Kids 8-11

3. Junior 12-15

4. Adult 16 and up.

Three Classes of racers: 1 person, 2 person, 3 or more persons.

These races are a lot of fun to watch, everyone has a good time. We also have the Fire Dept. selling hot dogs, there will be pop and water available. Come watch the races.
