With a playful approach, artist Mary Marquiss will step you through the
basic language of the watercolor medium with a series of warm-up exercises
and lead you through the creation of two finished paintings of Haystack
rock. On Sunday Japanese rice papers will be integrated into the grasses,
rocks and sky of the second watercolor painting to add interest, texture and
depth. Cost: Mary Marquiss 2-day instruction $150.00 & Lodging rates are $179.00 for an ocean front room or $149.00 for a non-view room.
