Short Walk: 1.2 miles from Coos Bay Boardwalk, thru Historic Front Street District to the new Coos History Museum visiting historical characters along the way.

Long Walk: 3.8 miles from Coos Bay Boardwalk back to the North Bend Boardwalk with historical interpretation by Kim Griffith.

Meet at the California St Boat Ramp at the north end of the North Bend Boardwalk to start the walk.   Shuttles will take walkers to the Coos Bay Boardwalk to begin the walk.  Short walkers will be shuttled from the Coos Historical & Maritime Center back to the North Bend Boardwalk.

Short walks have an average pace of 2mph and last 2.5 -3.5 hrs while long walks average 2-3mph pace and can last 3-6 hours. Bring snacks and water and dress for the weather.  The walk is on pavement and appropriate shoes are advised.  Dogs are welcome, however only service dogs are able to board the shuttles.  Dog walkers are encouraged to self-shuttle, or walk a round trip route (short = 2.6 miles; long = 9.6 miles).
