Liberty Theatre’s Tribute to our Veterans

A “USO-style” show will be presented on May 27 and 28 at 7pm and on Sunday May 29 at 2pm with free admission to active military and veterans.
     A live band led by Fred Corbett will accompany the World War II era jazz songs, including Aymée Pedder “At Last,” Ella Fish “Dream,” Mary Schaffers “Night and Day”  and Kathleen Zappelli “A Nightingale sang in Barkley Square.”  An all-men’s chorus led by Ken Graber will perform a military tribute song featuring fight songs of 5 branches of the military.
     The “Women’s Tree-o, with Laura Beville, Kathleen Zappelli and Josie Reid will perform 3 Andrews Sisters tunes including “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “Don’t sit Under the Apple Tree,” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” with Nick Lovell on trumpet.
     Joe Colo and his dancers will swing dance to tunes played by Keryn Frazell and Becky-Bell Greenstreet on the piano and George Cordes on drums, and Just for Kids dance company will perform a tap-dance to “You’re a Grand Old Flag.”

Tickets: Veterans & Active Duty Military – FREE. Prices: $15 Adults, $12 for Seniors and $10 for Children (please note tickets purchased online have an additional service charge). For Group and Family rates call 541-756-4336.
