Intro to Standing Poses w/ Sailee
Afraid yoga means twisting yourself into a pretzel? Learn the basic standing poses of yoga in the beautiful setting of South Slough (no pretzeling required!). This class is designed for the beginning level student with the opportunity for deeper modifications for returning yogis.Join Sailee for this two-hour workshop with plenty of time for dialogue and questions. Our focus for this session will be on standing poses and simple balances such as the Warrior Poses, Mountain Pose, and Tree pose. While this workshop is mostly standing, there will be some seated poses and a strong emphasis on the connection between breathe and movement. Come try a yoga practice in this uniquely beautiful space! [Min – 10, Max 20] ($15 / person, must be at least 18 years old)

All programs begin at the South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve Interpretive Center unless otherwise noted. located 4 miles south of Charleston on Seven Devils Road, west of Coos Bay.
