Pink Martini Benefit Concert

Posted by OCVA / December 16, 2014

Oregon’s own incomparably hip small orchestra will play two evening concerts at the Performing Arts Center on December 16 and 17.

This house jazz band gone hipster-classical has a large and devoted national following. Led by Thomas Lauderdale at the piano, Pink Martini has performed in many countries across several continents, bringing a better and more diverse vision of American life and music to the world. With Lauderdale’s interest in politics, the group often performs at fundraisers for various causes.

Due to the immense popularity of Pink Martini, NSO organizers expect tickets to these concerts to sell out quickly. Tickets are available to the general public for $55 from the Performing Arts Center box office, by phone at (541) 265-ARTS, and online at NewportSymphony.org.
