Annual Tree Lighting Party

Posted by OCVA / November 28, 2014

Lincoln City’s 3rd Annual Tree Lighting Party, an indoor-outdoor family event, will take place Thanksgiving weekend. This free public event will launch the Lincoln City holiday season with make-and-take ornaments, live music, a cake walk, a vendor sale of handmade goods, a visit from Santa and the illumination of the center’s 15-foot community tree. And – for the first time – the Tree Lighting Party will feature a display of live reindeer, on the center’s front lawn. It will all take place at the cultural center, six blocks north of the D River at 540 NE Hwy. 101, Lincoln City.

The Tree Lighting Party will offer events from noon to 7 pm on the day after Thanksgiving: Friday, Nov. 28. During the same hours, at the other end of the center, Old Geezer Productions will be offering the 11th Hour Santa Sale, with 25 vendors of handmade arts, crafts, food and other festive holiday gifts.
