Jill Perry Townsend and Tracy MacEwan Art Show

On Friday, Sept. 12, the Lincoln City Cultural Center’s Chessman Gallery will celebrate a show of sculpture and paintings by two resident artists: Jill Perry Townsend and Tracy MacEwan. Both artists, accomplished in their individual media, produce and create in studios at the LCCC.

Perry Townsend, who works in the sculpture studio on the center’s main floor, will exhibit two-dimensional works in bronze and fired terra cotta, as well as plein air oil paintings of the coastal landscapes. MacEwan, who recently moved into the small downstairs painting studio, will be showing abstract acrylics. Both artists will be on hand for the opening wine-and-nibbles reception, set for 5-7 pm Friday, Sept. 12. The show will remain on the walls in the Chessman Gallery, 540 NE Hwy. 101, thorugh Oct. 6.
