There’s a new yarn crawl in Oregon, and it’s just beachy keen. It’s Yarn Crawl 101, and it encompasses 14 stores stretched over 364 miles from Ocean Park, Wash., to Brookings. As the name implies, it takes place along¬†Highway 101, which adds breathtaking scenery to the mix. Interested? Here’s what you need to know:

  • The dates: Friday, Sept. 12-Sunday, Sept. 14
  • The deals: Each store will have a free pattern for Crawlers, no purchase necessary, and the yarn to make it will be 10 percent off during the Crawl.

I’m so sorry I missed learning about this 2014 yarn crawl. I live about 40 miles east of Tillamook and have completed the Rose City Yarn Crawl the last four years. Love the challenge and the fun with friends! I sure hope you’ll add me to your mailing list and send me the dates of your next crawl!!!!

I’m also a pattern designer and have a couple that are definitely Oregon themed. Would be happy to share free copies with any of you. They’re available on Ravelry under my name. Just message me and I’ll provide a code for a free copy for any Oregon LYS.
