Professional Chefs Compete at Wild Mushroom Cook-Off

Lincoln City, OR – Come and enjoy flavors of the fall on the Oregon Coast at the 6th Annual Wild Mushroom Cook-Off on Saturday October 11th. The Culinary Center, located on the fourth floor of City Hall (801 SW Highway 101), will host this cooking competition from 11am to 2pm. Professional chefs from around the Pacific Northwest region will craft their signature mushroom dishes to a panel of expert judges. Attendees can also take part by voting for their favorite dish, the People’s Choice Award.

Admission to the competition is free and tasting samples are available for $0.75 each. There will be a cooking demonstration, live music as well as beer, wine, and assorted treats. It is an event that is sure to delight your taste buds.

The Lincoln City Culinary Center hosts four annual cook-offs: Jambalaya, Fish Taco, Wild Mushroom and Chowder, each featuring some of the best chefs in the Pacific Northwest.
