Party at the Port

Start your summer right! Come on down to the Port of Brookings Harbor to take part in the Memorial weekend festivities. 

This event features live bands, local talents, a beer garden, artisans/vendors and a host of other May Day celebrations. 

Don’t miss the annual Championship Slug Races held on the boardwalk at 1pm on Sunday. Registration for this event begins at noon at Slugs and Stones. This is a benefit for the Humane Society.

The Curry County Cruisers will be set up on both Saturday and Sunday in the parking lot in front of The Boardwalk. Please be sure to check out their website for specific details.

This year marks the 2nd Cardboard Boat Regatta! This is both a participant and spectator sport. The race starts at 230pm , participants and their team construct a boat out of duct tape and cardboard either at home or at the Port. The finished product must be registered and sitting in the designated area by 130pm race day.The object is to be the first boat to make it to the finish line without sinking. There will be awards for 1st,2nd, and 3rd place as well as the sinker award. This award is for the boat that sinks in the most spectacular fashion. You do not want to miss this!
