Posted by OCVA / May 11, 2014

The Faire is located on Port of Toledo property at North West First and A Streets. The Faire is set in the year 1585 as a celebration for the arrival of Elizabeth I who is visiting Glastonbury Cathedral. The local residents have created this presentation to entertain the Queen. They bring together entertainment, wares, and food to delight the Queen. Although humble, they are very pleased with their offering.

The Faire features 4 Stages, a Tourney Field and several interactive exhibits. Performances include Armored Fighters, Period Dancers, Madrigal Singers, Period Musicians, and Theatre presentations. There are Merchant Booths selling the type of items that Shakespeare would have found common, as well as Food Booths offering fare from the times.

The Faire opens at 10:00 A.M. and runs until 5:00 P.M. both days. Gate prices are $6.00 for Adults and Teens, $4.00 for Seniors and Children, and Children under 5 are free.
