The Oregon Coast Military Heritage Museum’s Festival of Trees was held Sunday, Dec. 1, at the museum on Kingwood Street. Thirty decorated trees were on display, each available for a “buy it now” price and for silent auction. The event raised more than $12,000 for the military museum.

Many of the trees were sold at the buy-it-now prices, with the highest listed price at $1,000.

Awards were also decided by a panel of judges that awarded Most Elegant to Families of Veterans; Most Creative to Goodman’s Flooring; and Most Patriotic to Daughters of the American Revolution. The Mayor’s Award went to Diane Archer.

The People’s Choice awards were Most Elegant to Families of Veterans, Most Creative to Beachcomber Pub and Most Patriotic to Daughters of the American Revolution.
